Chris began working for Servicemaster Management Services in the Chicago area in 1993 and quickly worked his way onto a management position at one of the local franchise owners in 1994. From there, he moved to Georgia to work in the Atlanta corporate office, where he worked until he was hired to re-organize and lead the team at a Spalding County franchise location where he met his wife, Nikkia. She had been working at the franchise since late 1995, first as an office manager, and she soon gained the position as lead of the fire cleaning department.
In 1999, the two were given the opportunity to purchase their own franchise. The couple did so, and moved to Newton County, where they opened; Servicemaster by Lovejoy. Starting with one company vehicle, a good work ethic, and dedication to delivering great service at a fair price, the business grew into what has now become one of the top 200 franchises in the country, for the last 8 years.
Thirteen years and growing, the business is now home to a staff of more than 20 and offers a wide variety of interior / exterior cleaning services for both home and office. Servicemaster by Lovejoy also holds multiple certifications in water, fire, and trauma clean up, as well as mold remediation services. |
